Boss Engira Bhaskaran (English: Boss alias Bhaskaran) is a 2010 Tamil romantic comedy film written and directed by M. Rajesh who earlier directed Siva Manasula Sakthi (2009). Starring Arya, Nayantara and Santhanam in lead roles, the film is produced by K. S. Sreenivasan and features music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography handled by Sakthi Saravanan.

Bhaskaran, a college dropout, along with his friend Nallathambi starts a coaching class for students in order to win the love of a young professor, Chandrika.

The story is simple. Baskaran aka Boss ( Arya) is an unemployed youth without a care in the world whose elder brother Saravanan ( Subbu) is a vet still unmarried at 45. The doting family consisting or amma and a sister is completed when a bride enters the home as Saravanan falls in love. In the meanwhile Boss finds that the girl he has fallen for, Chandrika ( Nayan) is the sister of his new anni. Nallathambi ( Santhanam) is his one and only best friend who runs a hair saloon and helps the hero in everything from passing arrears to wooing his girl. This happy state of affairs continues till the day Boss asks for Chandrika’s hand in marriage, a move strongly opposed by her father (Chitra Laxman) and also the anni since the hero is unemployed and has not even a college degree. What brings about a change in him and what he does to win his girl in marriage forms the last half of the film.

“Boss Engira Baskaran” is a awesome comedy movie in Tamil Film Industry after a very long time. It satisfies everybody with the Comedy.

Director has done a very good Job in presenting this movie for Humour lovers.

ARYA-He Plays a good role as a hero in the movie but still “JEEVA” can be a best choice for a hero role rather than Arya.

NAYANTHARA- Asusual, she comes for dance and got a few chances in acting. The saddest part is she looks oily and ugly in her makeup,It would be better for her to reduce her makeup.

SANTHANAM- He comes as a second hero.He had a done very nice job in Comedy role,No words to describe about his Comedy. It was just awesome, awesome and awesome.

The songs at the second part of movie slowdown the entertainment a little.

JEEVA- As I said before, he would fit perfectly for the Hero role rather than Arya.Though,he comes for few minutes,he had done his job well.
